SC2GG is starting the new year with something a little different - Commentator Idol! This new contest is an opportunity for the SC2GG community to interact with aspiring commentators trying to land a staff position and a larger audience. Starting January 19th, each week will feature a new challenge for the contestants to tackle - from single games to FPVODs and more! They will work under the same kinds of conditions that legends like Diggity, Moletrap, and Klazart endured; short deadlines for producing quality commentary while dealing with everyday life and trying to add that personal touch to their work. Their path to greatness leads through you, the SC2GG community, as you'll be voting for your favorite commentator.

Hey all this is RainmanMP and I am once again proud to bring you the Commentary of the Week! Last week featured some ACE options but they all had little votes compared to the winner, Jaedong vs Kal, a rematch of the GOMTV MSL S4 Finals from way back. This week we still have some good games. The pickings are a bit slimmer, but we have some battles between friends and former teammates. Without further ado, here are your choices!

NonY Gets 2nd Place in his First Courage Appearance! NonY, the latest foreigner to arrive in Korea, got an astounding second place in his first ever Courage tournament appearance, which is absolutely unheard for a foreigner. SCForAll's Artosis was on the scene to cover NonY's amazing run in his first tournament in Korea. Check out this special documentary featuring special guest Tasteless. This is a much watch for all StarCraft fans interested in Korea's gaming scene. Congratulations to NonY!

In a step into a new direction, SC2GG now features Live Report threads for the Proleague matches. Tonight, we have CJ Entus taking on the KTF MagicNs and we also have MBCGame HERO fighting Woongjin Stars. Check out the threads on the forums and keep track of how your favorite team is doing!

On December 21st, GomTV Classic’s matches included Tempest versus Free and Mind versus Kal. There is only one more week of the Round of 16 and there is no doubt that the matches are increasingly competitive as the tournament advances.
