[Cholera]

One of my viewers suggested that I make a glossary of "Cholera-isms" that I've invented or used a lot over the course of a year's commentaries. I thought it'd be a fun idea . Here's a list of neologism I've used a lot, with credit given for other commentators' terms. Please post if you think of any more!


Nicknames (ABC Order now!)

Backho: The Ho, The Female White Tiger (seen in a scarily drawn sign in a game)

Bisu: Pretty-Boy Toss, Girly Toss

Chalrenge: Steve Buscemi-Toss

ChRh: Living Fossil

DrK: Doctor Korea, Doctor Kill, Doctor Kevorkian

Effort: Neo-Savior

Firebathero: Dancing Queen, Failbathero, Firebat-Zero-and-Three (after Bisu 3-0'ed him)

HiYa: He Who Made Firebathero Cry in Proleague Finals (on Rise's account, damnit!)

Flash: The Terminator, The Terran Machine, "I Know Now Why You Cry", The End of Starcraft

Frozean: "Cute Angel", Huge tool (Rise), "Champagne-spraying, Stork-blinding, freaking useless Frozean"; The worst player in Proleague

Hyuk: HYUKED!

Hyvaa: Queen (Rise's)

Jaedong: Velociraptor Zerg; "Hungry" (Rise's)

Lomo: Bubble-gum Terran (Moletrap's)

Much: Coked Up Vampire

Nada: "The kind of guy you want to bring home to your parents"

Oversky: Neo-Yellow; The One Who Stopped Jaedong's ZvZ

Reach: Intercepts nuclear missiles with bare hands, Chuck Norris Toss, Warrior against terror, AC Slater

Sea: Sweaty Hands Sea (Rise's)

Shine(T): Crappy Look-Alike of Mind

Tazza: TTTTTTaza; "about to lose his virginity with a fangirl" (after beating Bisu)

Tempest: Flash with Glasses

TheZerg: AZerg (after losing streak)

Stork: Pterodactyl Toss

[NC]Yellow: Pimp, Zack Morris, Reach's wingman

YellOw[ArnC] and Luxury: The Broodling Twins, The Zergling Twins

YellOw[ArnC]: The twin who didn't get enough milk

Zergbong: Stupid, "Why Reach loses"


Builds and Units

Anti-air Manlots: Because Reach's zealots can jump over things and kill overlords

"The Cholera Build": The ever-popular two hatch lurkers, ZvT ONLY. Specifically, 9 pool or overpool speedlings into two hatch lurkers. Almost always gets wrecked if lurkers are scouted.

"(Protoss) Cholera Build": Fast two base carriers and corsairs/dweb in PvZ, WITHOUT any previous reaver harassment. Later, building tons of gateways/pylons/other crap in front of natural expansion, with a few reavers behind it, to stop frontal attacks. Works against zergs who have not heard of devourers or defilers.

"(Terran) Cholera Build": SK terran v Zerg, into poor macro and lots of minerals/gas, into battlecruisers and lifting buildings when bases are lost. Again, works against zergs who have not heard of devourers or defilers.

"Flash Build": No scout 14 cc vs Z, P, or T, into insta-loss

Holots: The opposite of manlots: zealots who totally fail; sometimes cursed to other players by Backho

Hyvaa Build: From Hyvaa v Flash: 3 hatch into FAKE spire into fast double evo chambers, queens, lurkers, and 5 hatch hive. Also known as the Jaedong Build, as he actually won with it.

Jangbi Templars/ Jangbi Storms: Amazing storms; sometimes loaned to other top Tosses (Moletrap's)

Manlots (Klazart's), Manchons, Manprobe, ManDT: Reach's units, sometimes loaned to other players

Mangoon : Tempest's dragoon vs Light; previously thought to not exist

MAN pylon: Reach's manner pylon

Much scarabs: Perfectly placed scarabs among workers that inevitably duds and kills nothing; usually concurrent with loss of shuttle/reaver (Tasteless')

"Three-hatch fast hive into LOSE": What Savior used to do ZvT in 2008 (KnightofNi's)

"Vilda Build": In ZvT or ZvP, poor macro in mid-late game, into 20 ultras and winning

"Vilda Lings": Mid/late game slow zerglings for which you forgot speed upgrade

"Vilda Greeting": If you chat in her presence and she is not familiar with you: "Hi. Who are you? F.O, go away, stop lagging, leave this channel, I'm going AFK. /nick VildAFK"

u forgot to explain that Pterodactyl Toss is for when Stork goes two base carriers and i think there's like T-rex Toss and (insert dinosaur name here) Toss for when he uses different strategies

Well, Mantoss is a very old term that's been around since like 2003. I'm mainly including things that either I made up, or I use a lot that have come from 2008 or more recently, for reference sake.
