I'm sure everyone knows... Avi-Love qualified for the TSL last night with a ladder rating of 9899 (A-) with a stellar record of 123-50!!! He's in 31st but thanks to some disqualifications that position will improve before the actual qualifiers start.

This is an amazing accomplishment, the level of competition of this TSL has been the highest/hardest we've seen for pretty much any SCBW event. It's amazing how good Avi is and it's great that he decides to spend time in the SC2GG community I for one can say it's a great opportunity to get to play him in recent sc2gg weekly's, have him available on sc2gg irc for game questions and just generally be around!

I'm sure sc2gg will agree with me we wish you the best of luck in the TSL qualification stages and we'll all be rooting for you!

JuanJo seems to play strictly Zerg, so I'm guessing Avi will TvZ him instead of ZvZ. JuanJo was 50% (19-19) in ZvT on the ladder, statistically his worst match-up.

Strelok we all know. Terran vs. Zerg. To the general public, TvZ is Strelok's worst matchup (he's a TvT monster though). Last TSL he made the Round of 16 and lost to Draco, but beat Slider and Temujin in the qualifiers before that. His TvZ was shockingly his best matchup in the ladder, where he had a 90% winning percentage (45-5!).

Avi, meanwhile, ranked in at #28 for now, with some great stats. Over 70% win percentage overall, with good stats in against all races (58% vs Zerg, 77% vs. Protoss, 78% vs. Terran). His ZvT was his best matchup where he pulled a 77.8% win percentage. There aren't a whole hell of a lot of players with better win percentages than him.
