I was pretty much speechless when I watched that "video". Im really disappointed that immature people are allowed to upload such crap in the section where they supposed to upload games with commentary.

I'd like to add that I don't want to defend ICCUP admin that was accused by DejaVu (as a matter of fact, I do believe that ICCUP admin was wrong). Anyways - you have a problem with ICCUP admin? Contact ICCUP admins. What SC2GG has to do with it? I come here to watch SC:BW games, not some kind of whining.

Im really, really disgusted with what he's done and I expect him to be banned from posting anything in VODS section.

This is also an argument for adding rating system for commentators. Or at least allowing adding comments under each video. That way someone would be able to ban ppl that don't belong there.

I would also like to add that Im really greateful for all the work that comentators do. I truly enjoy watching all the games. And this is the first time when Im dissapointed with their (his?) work.

I really hope to see some actions taken against him. Otheriwse it'd be a real shame for SC2GG.

If it's your first post on the site and you want to make a good impression don't call well known members of the community immature people. And it's uploaded their because a tracker follows ANYTHING uploaded, it doesn't organize between VODs or announcements and so on.

Second Dejavu is a well known Commentator, a real nice guy, he even mentioned to some of us that the whole reason he was mad was the fact that the admin acted disrespectfully. Would you like it if you had a complaint to make and the admin just said LOL? Anyways he shouldn't be banned on the grounds that he was just expressing his feelings.

what section are you referring to? he uploaded it onto his (personal) youtube channel. and lots of other starcraft commentators have uploaded vids that arent commentaries (or that aren't even starcraft related for that matter lol)

Okay Good. So this raises the question why you are trying to ban somebody that isn't and won't be banned because he really did nothing wrong. Sure he swore at the admin. I'm all for Deja ranting or venting about the situation. I love that idea and voicing the truth to a situation publicly if an injustice has been done.

Sadly he doesn't just voice the situation publicly he goes WAY too far in the video, singling out 2easy and later in the video basically throwing expletives at him left and right calling him a "fricken retard" saying he has no life other than admining sc... among many other things.

That is easily a justifiable ban from iccup no questions asked no matter what happened honestly. to single out one of the head admins in that way is uncalled for. The ruling of his situation was even correctly handled initially.

I hate this situation from both sides to be honest.

Not to mention now there's a whole new aspect of this situation that nobody has talked about yet, Deja is a front page commentator. He represents sc2gg, by keeping him on the front page with his rant video uploaded to his primary youtube account they now risk direct association with this video.

Does sc2gg want to be associated with behavior like this? It now forces that kind of decision...

Not only does this video potentially harm iccups image but it creates possibly some distaste within the sc2gg community especially when you consider the countless amount of people who don't regularly post on sc2gg or are very active but watch the videos and enjoy the commentary like jare for example.

Also I have no problem with you starting a discussion but when you come into our community and insult my friend I get kinda ticked. You started the discussion and we told you it was stupid. Honestly Dejavu went a little overboard in the video but hes entitled to his opinion and can post whatever he wants on his account. The fact that it went to the tracker and you watched it isn't his fault at all and there's no reason he should be punished from the sc2gg community, Iccup is a different story.

I'm going to say this.

DejaVu did something stupid, it's true. Sure, he was mad, but he went overboard. Unfortunately, that's a stupid thing that someone has done. Jarekexe is fine to voice his displeasure. People are fine to disagree with him. SC2GG, as a website, will not be punishing DejaVu for this, because it's a silly flame war - people say bad things to other people on the internet all the time, and DejaVu certainly chose the wrong way to talk about it, and did so the wrong way.

Just by saying this, I am NOT supporting what he says. I don't, the website doesn't, but as far as other things he does, we are very supportive. He's a friend and a team member. He could have done that better, but to do whatever sort of banning & removing because of this? That's the same over-reaction that I won't commit.

Obviously there will be discussion about these comments. At least someone signed up and voiced their opinion. But, if you're going to discuss this, do not let it devolve into a ridiculous flame war. That won't accomplish anything, right?
