I had no chance to play SC2 jet and i woundered for quite some time does anyone know how much dmg the shields of the protoss will take in SC2?

In SCBW they always got max dmg regardless what attacked them but in SC2 we have a new system. No dmg types anymore but instead +dmg to certain amor types. Will the shields always get the +dmg or not. Or does it even depend on the amor type and the get the same dmg as the normal hp?

I also wonder about the regeneration. It didnt seem much faster then in BW in the last Battle Report

IDK the dmg/reg in BW! And you are asking about SC2 lol! SC2 isnt out yet the batte reports youve seen are a beta version as fas as I know. So I dont think anyone can help ya with that information at the momen.

I remember reading or hearing that protoss shields take damage according to their armor underneath and that the shields charge faster than in Brood War. I can't link any sources for ya, but that's what I distinctly remember.

I thought the shields never took additional damage in SC2 hence why Protoss are getting comparatively less shields and more health.
