I woke up earlier today to find about 120 emails in my primary email inbox notifying me of new sc2gg personal messages (pretty much everything I've received in the past year)

what the fock these forums just keep owning me. I constantly get logged out when I visit the sc2gg home page, bots everywhere, now my email is getting spammed with late notifications of new pm's that I received 8 months ago... who runs this place anyway.

What can we say? Your just that popular!

yeah don't know what this issue is, but it's been reported and sort of getting looked at when time is had.

you'll be happy to know that this particular forum is not long for this world... :/ There will be a change when that gets worked out, but progress is at least being made.

don't get me wrong I LOVE email notification when I get PM's because sometimes I have important discussions and I don't want to have to log into sc2gg when I'm at work and whatnot to see if I have new pm's. This is something I've really wanted to have on TL as well but they use outdated/custom forum styles instead of like the newest phpbb boards which are SO nice.

its just when I go to log into my email and I see 100+ emails from sc2gg telling me I have new pm's, that's kinda rofl.

lI love email notification though, like if your following a thread so every time theres a reply you get emailed, that kind of stuff is REALLY nice to have that isn't supported on TL.

Now, it wouldn't be so bad, except for the fact that my school uses Outlook for our servers. And I use chrome. And I have to select each e-mail individually before mass deleting. No shift-click. Noooo I have to check each fucking box.

No wait! This is a good thing. I too woke up this morning with over a 100 emails, but I've NEVER received Email Notifications in the passed and it's always pissed me off. Granted they're all old, but maybe I'll start finally receiving notifications now! Whatever changed, let's leave it!

The really bizarre thing is that they all have really old dates on them. Like they were being saved up, or they were being attempted to email, but were always unsuccessful, and then BLAARRGG it just barfed them all out at once, because some sort of email server someplace that we don't know about started working or something.

On the bright side, only a few of us really send out that many pm's I think. So it's really just our small collective group that got screwed. With that being said

So on another note. Why are replies to forum posts all of sudden not showing up for me? Each reply is listed at the bottom of the page under "Posts in this topic" as little folders and I have to click on each one to see the replies to the post.

Am I losing my mind here?

Did you turn on some sort of low quality option someplace? Because this isn't happening to anyone else, and there is a "view in low quality" option someplace that I've never heard of anyone using before.

Oh, I've done that by accident before. Go to "options" and click standard under "Display Modes". You're in outline form right now.

the only thing I was TRYING to do was archive old PM's cuz the 50 rule is so retarded I keep getting a full inbox... is there no way to increase the PM limit for users? 50 pm's is so few.

Achieving should only send 1 email though... this is more madness.
