3. i get this message:

Battle.net was unable to properly identify your application version. Please uninstall and then reinstall the application. if the problem persists then you may have a computer virus. For information on detecting and removing this virus you may contact us by email at support@blizzard.com

All the standard blizzard gateways still work perfectly for me, and so does the sc2gg bnet server. Ive never had this problem with iccup before either in any previous season.

Also im reasonably sure i dont have a computer virus since the computer works the same as it always has, and all i do on it is play starcraft so i don't see how it could have gotten one ohmy.gif

And yes i am aware i have a mac so you dont need to post telling me that tongue.gif

any help is much appreciated! smile.gif

It's because you have a mac.

I just tested it and works fine for me.
Is the problem persisting? If so, you should probably contact one of the iccup admins (flirt with Tesla while you're at it).

I just tried again without the iccup launcher, since i recall that you can't use one. Still no problem.

In short: gateway's fine, you're computer sounds fine...there must be some sort of gateway script error...not like i know what i'm talking about. With your computer and iccup gateway out of the picture, you should have the admins check whatever they changed between the last and current season.

You should also see if any other mac user has encountered your problem.

I had this problem fixed by running the launcher as admin. I dont think u use the launcher though so umm... sad.gif

Theres actually a thread about this on the iccup website too:

Apparently a lot of people have been having this problem. While it seems a disproportionate number of the people affected have macs, its also affecting some PC users. Nobody there has figured out a solution yet unsure.gif

Maybe it's a location thing? Is a lot of people from your area? Or is it everywhere?
