Could you all please tell us how you heard about the site the very first time? It's handy to know! Thanks

To be honest, I first heard of this site last year. I forgot where I heard it but it was before I heard if from the commentators. The site kind of died at the end of the year so I left and when I checked back a while later, it was alive.

The first time i heard about sc2gg.com was I believe during one of the first SC English commentaries a watched,a dual-commentary by Moletrap and Diggity, on youtube.
Hope that helps

Oh right. I remembered how I rediscovered SC2GG. Remember the fansite tourny at the beginning of the year. I was rooting for warboards (who got to the semi-finals even though the team wasn't the best at 2v2) and I saw SC2GG on the list. I was like wtf? I thought that site was dead. Anyway, I came a bit later and found it was active. Yay.

I heard about it last year - either from Diggity or Moletrap's YouTube videos. And yeah - this site did seem to flutter and disappear for a while, but now looks great.

Our opponents, some random chinese website, maphacked us and beat us.
I still wanna know how the Sc.org team did in that. Ahzz and Lammas is a pretty fearsome 2v2 if you ask me. But shit kinda died with that.
Diggity's videos. I had seen Moletrap and Klazart's, too, but it was distinctly from one of his videos that I got the plug that made me check this site out.

I actually had never heard of the korean starcraft scene. One day, around june of last year, i was looking for old game cinematics (warcraft 2 ending credits and such) and I stumbled upon savior fpvods. They were so fast i couldn't make out half the time what was happening. I kept looking for more. Even though i recognized the units, but the way the game was played i had never seen before. I, however, wasn't used to the sound of koreans shouting, so i kept looking. I eventually i got to an English commentary of two guys commentating a 3 set between Savior and some guy Bisu. I think i watched those videos about 9-10 times. I don't remember what their name was, but they most definitely weren't sc2gg people. Anyway, after watching those videos for the first time i did what i would later recognize as the end of my life as a competently good student. I typed 'starcraft vs english commentary'. I didn't find much to see, only ten videos or so, but i did it daily. Eventually, i got to klazart, later moletrap, later cholera, and diggity last. Next thing i know i'm ordering the SC battlechest from the US and going through the single player campaign all over again, watching comentaries when i wasn't playing. I must have heard "...shoutout to sc2gg.com" about a million times. I visited the site once, and didn't suscribe, didn't return until i saw the organized setlists. I came often afterwards bt never touched the forums or the IRC. Eventually, i registered on the forums, and about two weeks ago someone taught me through the forums how to access the irc. That's it. Hope it helps.
