Full Version: Window mode
Ok I've been trying to obtain W-Mode for about the last hour, but I can't find any sort of link anywhere that will piont me in the right direction. I have chaos, but the w-mode plugin won't transfer over to my folder for some retarded reason, so I can't get it that way, and all the other ways seemed ridiculously complex to me. Is there something that I can do to get it despite my comp's retardedness?
I thought the newest version of Chaos came with the W-mode plugin. Is your Chaos up to date?

He said that he has Chaos Launcher - just that he can not get the windowed mode plug-in to work.
Have you tried running StarCraft in a virtual machine? A large number of virtual machines (I used VMWare at the time) run in a separate window. You could use that to obtain a pseudo windowed mode when playing it in fullscreen through the VM.
My friend that plays SC over Linux uses this method to get it working - and it also gives him the benefit of having a windowed SC.

If you're running under Windows, you can use their Virtual PC Wizard that is currently free of charge. You can get it here: Windows VM
Have you tried reinstalling it with a clean install?
