How to put neutral building in a map when I create it, like power generator?
Thanks for any helps.

First, make sure you're using scmdraft2. It's a third party map editor. Best one you can use. Go to the sprites tab, go to unit sprites, then choose a neutral building you want to place. easy as that.

i'd using Xtra Editor by General Mengsk if i were u, much more user friendly, also u have the option of putting neutral units via the P12 option and it works just perfect, the downside of that editor is the lack of flat ground placement.
Myself im using SCMDraft for terrain and Xtra Editor for stuff like Neutral Players, Triggers, etc.

SCMDraft2 is actually far better than Xedit. I've used the latter myself for a while until I switched to scmdraft. SCMdraft can do everything X edit can do and more.
Make sure you're using unit sprites and not regular sprites. Regular sprites just make images of the building.

Bump!
Related note: can you get neutral units, such as a drone, to appear in game in this manner? I tried placing a drone unit sprite for player 12, but instead of getting a living, breathing drone, I got a dead, splattered one. I guess using normal sprites will only make the image, as you said? Is there any way to get this to easily work, or do I just have to get people to use map settings?

Well, it should work. Perhaps the drone was on unbuildable terrain.

The drone should still appear in game, but yes for some reason scmdraft displays in scmdraft a dead drone sprite instead. I tested this myself when someone was having a problem with it, and I was able to get it to work.
